About Us

Welcome to Singleton C of E Primary School

Dear Parents

Thank you for considering Singleton Church of England Primary School for your child’s education. We are delighted to share with you what makes our school a special place for learning and growth.

At Singleton Church of England Primary School, Christ is at the heart of everything we do. As a voluntary aided school, we pride ourselves on creating a loving and caring environment with a strong sense of family. Our inclusive ethos, deeply rooted in Christian values, ensures that every child receives a well-rounded education in a stimulating and fun learning environment.

We believe in providing opportunities for every child to thrive socially, emotionally, academically, and physically. We encourage our pupils to strive for excellence and achieve the highest possible standards, with the sky being the limit for their potential. We are committed to ensuring that all children leave our school with key basic skills to equip them for further learning – particularly reading, writing, and mathematical skills. We want our children to be successful and we work hard to provide a broad, balanced, and creative curriculum through which each child can develop their interests, skills, and talents within a supportive environment.

Our dedicated staff are passionate about teaching and nurturing each child, ensuring they feel valued and supported. We offer a range of extracurricular activities, from sports to performing arts, encouraging children to explore new interests and develop their talents. Our sports programs include football, netball, and athletics, while our performing arts opportunities range from musical theatre to learning various musical instruments. Additionally, we are proud to offer a Forest School program, where children can engage with nature, develop practical skills, and build confidence in an outdoor setting. We believe in the importance of a holistic education that goes beyond academics, fostering creativity, teamwork, and resilience.

By learning together, we support each other to reach our full potential in a safe and nurturing environment where everyone is valued, respected, and encouraged. Our school community is built on strong relationships between staff, students, and parents, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website and find the information you need, but more importantly, you would be very welcome to come and look around and see for yourself the warm, family feel and the special nurturing atmosphere and education that our children enjoy. Our school is a happy and nurturing place where children enjoy learning and are offered a wealth of opportunities beyond the core curriculum.
