Collective Worship

Worship at Singleton School

At Singleton, worship is an important feature to our day and a special time of reflection as a: class, key stage or whole school. We either begin or end our day with an act of worship which builds upon and deepens our Christian foundation as a school and within the community. Every Thursday we have our parish clergy, Cannon Martin lead collective worship. Each half term we take the children to Church and Cannon Martin Leads this worship.

Collective worship follows the patterns of Anglican worship and we have KS2 Christian leaders who support with worship, preparing resources, leading aspects of worship and leading outdoor reflection at break times.

We have a weekly celebration assembly where we come together as a whole school and celebrate our children’s achievements and rewards.
