Special Education Needs

Singleton Church of England School is an inclusive school where every child matters.

Mrs Millward (Y3/4 Class Teacher/Assistant Head) is our SENCO, she works alongside Miss Manns (Learning Mentor) and Mrs Stansfield (Business Support Officer) who provide admin support for SEN.

Mrs Millward oversees the SEN provision and support across school.

Mrs Millward, Miss Manns and Mrs Stansfield have an afternoon a week allocated SEN time. All SEN matters are considered in priority order within the allocated time each week and staff aim to address matters within realistic time frames.

Mrs Millward will however deal with urgent matters on the same day where possible – but this would be after school as she has a full-time teaching commitment during the day.
