SIAMS

SIAMS stands for Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools. It is an evaluation carried out by the Church of England and Methodist Church to assess the distinctiveness and effectiveness of the school as a Church school. From September 2023 the SIAMS inspectors no longer award the grades Excellent, Good, Requires Improvement, instead, the “vision and practice” of schools is categorised as either “living up to” or “not fully” living up to the Christian foundation.
